        I went to Lighthouse in 2021, I will say It did not help at all. I only liked a few staff the rest were just trying to get through the day. Fights broke out all the time on the girl's unit! After fights were done they wouldn't tend to the ones that would be in a panic afterwards. I had told one of the staff that I feared for my life because my roommate had told me she had choked me in my sleep until I started moving then she let go. Plus aren't they supposed to be watching us? I did NOT get to talk to my mom after like a week when I got there. They had a break out of lice. One girl I knew got told she was going home one day and then they told her she wasn't. I had went with another girl at the same who was in another hospital with me and we would confront each other during fights cause they wouldn't and then get mad at us for comforting each other. They wouldn't take other patients feelings into consideration. But I would like to thank some of the staff for helping me through my stay.

        I went there by a hospital and it was almost four hours from home. It was terrible. They would threaten kids. They threaten to take me to a hospital and put a feeding tube in my stomach without my parents consent. They ask what food I ate for no reason cus they never served it. I cried for days. Some kids were told that they can go home and they were told that they cant go home in the same day. I had just started a new medicine and they never gave it time to work and just raised the dosage and it had made me sick. They took my parents parental rights away so they no say so in anything. They took some of my stuff too. I would not recommend coming here for your own sake.
