Dr Walwrath treated me for eyelid surgery and blepharospasms. Very professional but caring, kind and friendly. I will freely recommend him and his staff. The office is clean and inviting.

No! Dont! Thought Id found help for my Ptosis but received was a botched surgery that left me so incredibly regretful. I was his second to last of the day. When he woke me during surgery to check for symmetry, making comments to his nurses about needing coffee. Didnt get back to my hotel post surgery until 7:00pm..that was 7hrs I had spent in the surgery facility. My left eye was pulled so tightly I couldnt close it. It was yanked; lumps and indented creases followed both lash lines and barely any skin for my lids. Not only did I pay $5,000 + but my insurance was also used. 6 months later; a revision from a surgeon on my left eye to enable closure and some normalcy in appearance. She did a fabulous job! My eye closes and the stitches and scarring look so much better on the left eye. I had so hoped with all the wonderful reviews, Id came to a great doc. My experience was nothing like the reviews sadly with Dr. Walrath less than assuring, even demeaning in his manner. In the follow up, he used somewhat of a baby talk and patted my shoulder and said something like Oh honey its only temporary instead of a reasonable explanation and plan. I wanted to know what happened and the ways to address it. Tried to allow for a revision but not from a doctor like this. Now, Im seeing yet another surgeon; a specialist who repairs botched eye surgeries. This isnt what I signed up for. Be wary! I feel so sad because the eyes speak for us. It affects me. I can get this fixed and but you PLEASE take heed. Just do more research and take care to find a surgeon who looks at you and takes their time. Find one who doesnt make wise cracking jokes instead of answering questions. Look for less ego, more concern. P.S After all the money I spent and BC/BS paid I was told to buy his $50 ointment. This ointment touted for scarring actually made it worse! Afterwards, with much looking, very few surgeons recommend this stuff until after youve healed. You can compare the scars in the picture below. One healed with, one healed without ointment. Wishing you all the best. 3rd photo: Prior to revision surgery. Wish the man would take less patients and using more patience. 1st photo: Theres a reddish horizontal indention, parallel to my lash line on the unrevised eye lid. And a slight one on my revised eyelid.

Dr Walrath performed upper and lower lid surgery and a brow lift on me. He and his entire team were great and the outcome was fantastic. I would highly recommend Dr Walrath to anyone without hesitation.

Fantastic surgeon and team. Cant say enough great things about him. Fixed some longstanding problems related to childhood athletic injuries that were not totally corrected by earlier surgeries. I know it sounds hard to believe, but my vision improved and it resulted in a lower golf score, especially in putting. No hassles, no surprises, except for the great outcome. Really a specialist!
