After doing my research, on who to choose as my child's doctor. I chose Dr Speer. We have been going here for 3 years now and I feel completely comfortable. My child also feels comfortable! He listens very well and offers great advice. My husband is also satisfied with the care he provides. The facility is clean and the staff are professional. As for as billing. I have not had any issues ,but you should also inquire about your own billing before care is provided. I feel this really helps with the confusion when it comes to billing. We are grateful for the care that Peachtree Park Pediatrics gives to our family!!

We have been a patient of Dr. Kou for 7 years now and she has been absolutely perfect! I was even happy with the fact I was able to schedule an appointment with her before I delivered my oldest to make sure she would be a good fit for our family and I definitely made the right decision. Going in the office we have never had to wait in the waiting room. We are given the tablet and sent straight back after checking in. Nurses have aways been great. We moved about an hour away, but still continue to be a patient because weve received great care. There have a few occasions we got stuck in traffic but they were kind and accommodating. We never had a problem getting in for an appointment rather it be a sick visit or check up.

As a first time mom I am so appreciative of Dr. Ellerine. She has a very calming demeanor and has been overwhelming helpful with providing guidance on all things baby (from breastfeeding to sleep training to all things in between). Shes the absolute best! We really love the office and all of the nursing staff (shout out to Nurse Q who is so compassionate and has the very best bedside manner and gets all the smiles out of both me and my four month old daughter!) We always look forward to seeing her! My sole grievance with our experience is with Joy with lactation. After seeing her soon after baby was born due to extremely painful breast feeding and nursing struggles the appointment was very rushed and she did not take time to observe our latch or my babies suck. When telling her about the pain I was experiencing with breastfeeding she dismissed it and due to my babys low BMI kept telling me I needed to tank her up and anytime she cried I needed to attempt to feed her which lead to even more discomfort, constant vomiting from my baby and almost lead to giving up on breastfeeding all together. She sat at her computer and typed up notes for the entire duration of the session rather than addressing me and my babys struggles and never evaluated our latch/technique or her independent suck. After seeing a lactation provider at a different facility only days later we learned that my baby had severe lip (grade IV), tongue and buccal ties that lead to the painful restrictive latch which was the cause of her poor latching and my extreme pain. Additionally, my pumping flanges were also too large leading to worsened irritation even with pumping. Once these things were addressed we have since successfully been breastfeeding for the past 4 months. I wanted to share this to encourage others to seek help elsewhere for breastfeeding support as I didnt find it at this office despite the incredible care that the nurses and doctors provide from the baby/ patient side of things. Without having found lactation support elsewhere I continue to be saddened by the fact that I almost gave up on breastfeeding after this horrid lactation experience due to lack of support and empathy for severe pain with feeding. Breastfeeding is not just about providing nutrients for a growing baby, it is also about maternal comfort and the mother/baby bonding that it brings. A wholistic approach that factors all these things in is imperative to breastfeeding success and I hope others will search for support elsewhere if they too arent getting the help that the need here in regards to breastfeeding prior to giving up on their own breastfeeding journey.
