Herman Miller Retail Store

Great sales, customer service and support by Cartier Hill and Dylan Hicks. If you are in the market for an expensive office chair, you cant go wrong with checking them out. Highly recommended.

The Aeron chair itself is of good quality, which fortunately prevents this review from being far worse. A while ago, when I received my order, it was the wrong chair. Upon reporting the mistake, instead of showing remorse and offering a prompt solution, the customer service representative named Cartier brushed off responsibility, stating that they were merely sellers and not in charge of the warehouse. One would expect much better customer service, particularly when making a considerable investment on a chair. Sadly, the service I encountered at that time was nothing short of atrocious.

I went there not being sure if I wanted the Aeron or the Embody so I tried both in the showroom. I sat there for a good while watching the employees greet and help the others who walked in. At one point, I was the only customer there and still no acknowledgement. In the end I decided to not get either. Only 2 stars because the chairs were good and the store is a good place to try them if you're not sure.

Nice spot for checking out Herman Miller brand chairs, friendly staff. Went to the nearby showroom, then realized there was a smaller retail store, so went there too. The showroom has two floors, Herman Miller chairs and furniture are at the top. The smaller retail store has only one floor, but decent lineup of the chairs and interesting accessories in the periphery. I went here to try out the high-end Embody chairs. I tried out both the Classic and gaming chair variants. Staff was friendly. I was here at least a half hour, the chairs felt so comfortable. I liked that they had the color I was interested in. Black with cyan for the backrests. I will likely go with the gaming chair variant, theyre a bit cheaper and even though werent as comfortable, they seem to promote a healthier, more upright posture in my case. Ill order online, but it was great to come in person and try them out before making the leap to ordering. It was great that the staff were approachable and friendly. Cool retail spot for Herman Miller, and was great to come and try it out. For reference, there is no such retail store for this brand in the whole of Virginia, if memory serves correct. The nearest one is in DC, which is also quite a distance. So, glad that I was able to find this small retail store.
