I don't know if this woman just hates Christians because she's a self proclaimed Wicken or maybe she's just stressed by the holiday rush, but this was awful customer service and the product I purchased was even worse. At the risk of having a hex put on me, I implore you to stay away.

Probably the worst customer service Ive experienced from a small business owner.

Yikes. What the others said. Poor products. And poor customer service(just scroll to see her response to bad reviews to get a sense of what youre dealing with. Geez. Why are you so defensive. Maybe put that energy into a better product?)

Rude, uncaring owner. With so many places in Ponce City Market to buy a $35 candle, I suggest anywhere else. Candle was poor quality, burned completely through in an hour and didnt have any scent to it. I attempted to return it and was told that I must have not burned it properly. Having spent years selling candles myself, I knew that to not be the case and insisted on a refund. I was told I couldnt have one because I chose not to get a receipt at purchase. Owner admitted that she remembered me, knew I purchased the candle and knew the transaction was done with her square system but refused to issue a refund. I said fine, Venmo me back, buy me a gift card, give me $35 back in cash. You pick. She insisted I was being aggressive and threatened calling security on me. Horrible customer service and equally horrible candles.

TLDR: Owner is non-responsive and uncaring to customer concerns. My friends and I signed up for the pottery class on July 26 offered by the Mangata Experience. It was $55/person, but it was nice because we got all got to make a few different pieces of pottery with guidance from Francie, the owner of the shop. We could bring in our own drinks, and she had some music playing. After we were done, she told us that we could pick up our pieces in a month. She also warned us that sometimes pieces explode in the kiln, but, through out the whole process, she was checking our work and expressed confidence that everything would be good with our pottery. Her location in Citizen Supply would be closing soon, but she had a new location by The Victorian where we could get them, and she would email us with more specific instructions. Fast forward a month later and none of us had heard anything about our pieces. I went by Citizen Supply, but it had been shut down, and the location by The Victorian didn't exist yet. One of my friends emailed her and was told that an email had gone out with details. None of us got an email. He tried to coordinate a pick-up time to get the pottery, all of which survived she said, but Francie stopped responding to his emails. I emailed her twice before she responded. She told me I could pick up my piece from the location by The Victorian starting September 8. When I asked for their hours, I got no response. Today I went by there, and luckily it was open, and Francie was there. I expressed my disappointment in the lack of communication. She said that she was sorry I "felt that way" and that an email had gone out, so I should check my spam (I did. No email.). When I collected everyone's pieces, she couldn't find one of them and guessed that it may have not survived the kiln. Again, this was disappointing because she was very reassuring that all of our pieces were constructed well and had told my friend that all of the pieces came out well. Although I had a lot of fun creating the pottery with my friends, the lack of communication and the apathy from Francie turned this experience into a negative one.
