Very dissatisfied with Wine and associates. They claim to have a high caliber of talent yet, they can't even get a petition filed and respond to a standard motion to dismiss without hours of phone calls and legal research to the tune of $5500. Beware of this firm.

Carrie Hackett is phenomenal. You hire a firm but get a family. Family matters are complicated, but having a team that is clear, caring and intentional helps alleviate some of the stressors associated with your individual situation. H&W gives all that with exceptional service. For me not residing in the state of GA and having to entrust them with my case there is no one else I'd rather have handled things. Ashley is a fantastic lawyer and is one of the best practitioners in the area of family law. Dont believe the negative reviews about her or her firm, theyre from people who flat out lie, and want someone to blame for them being terrible human beings, terrible spouses, or terrible parents. I would recommend her to anyone needing a family law attorney. 10/10 stars.

Terrible terrible experience, like the other complaints I felt as though Carrie Hackett only wanted money, I never even met with her, I only spoke on the phone with her once. I spoke with Kevin the whole time. my case was very very sensitive as it involved my children and their safety and criminal matters. , I was in a very venerable state and I realized I was just a sale, I had no real experience with lawyers in the past so i went into this very naive thinking that these lawyers are here for my families best interest. please ask lots of questions and maybe even print out your own set of expectations they can guarantee you within the first retainer so you know that you are getting something for your money. I am filing complaints with the Georgia Bar association and I advise you that everyone who has legit complaints to do the same, so no one else has to experience such treatment

I retained Ms. Hackett after a few negative lawyer experiences. I had a custody case with severe parental alienation with a lot of evidence. After Covid delayed my case, I decided to make a change and brought Carrie in 2 years into a 3 year case.
She worked well with the court appointed Guardian ad Litem, helped organize the case for trial, and pushed it to a positive resolution. We were able to prove severe alienation, won custody, and were awarded attorney fees. My ex-wife hired an attorney to employ some bullying tactics, but Ms. Hackett schooled her on family law. Carrie is always calm, yet has a great courtroom presence.
It's hard for a father to win custody, but we were able to prove the case beyond any doubt, and the court's ruling was overwhelmingly in our favor. Court battles can be trying, but I wouldn't have wanted to go through this with anyone else in my corner.
