Cafe Lucia

Was looking for a good coffee shop to kill but unfortunately this wasn't it Food was awful. Omlette was burnt and dry, iced coffee tasted pretty lousy, toast was cold Atmosphere was pretty poor as well. The lights wouldn't turn on (?) so it was pretty dark, seat cushions were ripped, and the top of my table fell off... On the positive, the two people working there were friendly

Came in at 11 am on Saturday. Turned away stating kitchen was closed. This does not line up with their posted hours. When I pointed this out I was told they were very busy and I should have come earlier.

I used to come here all the the time and love their food and customer service, but lately when I come to visit there is only one person working, food comes out 30 minutes after I order, last visit I got my drink 35 minutes after I ordered it. Its not the fault to the person working but to the owner of the place that doesnt have enough employee working. I saw two customer walked out because it was taking too long to make their drink ordered. Which it isnt fair to give all that stress to one employee.

Could not even try the food/drinks because when I was in line the girl running food and making drinks was sneezing and wiping her nose while and touching peoples food. I walked out immediately and down the street to Cafe Intermezzo. Truly disgusting. All sorts of health code violations.

I love Cafe Lucia. Its one of if not the most favorite cafe of mine in Atlanta. Their food is good despite the prices. The only complaint I would have is the fact that the bathrooms are not very good in terms of cleanliness and the fact that I have seen the employees vaping inside of the store while sitting at the bar (a very clear staff member that has served me multiple times) as well as sometimes disappearing in the back while there are customers waiting for service. I once saw a guy have to peer behind the wall into the kitchen because we could hear laughing but no one was coming to the front. I think they should invest in some kind of a way to get staff members attention (such as a bell of sorts). Vegetarian options: There are a good handful of options.
