They purposely delay a transfer of my matured annuity to another company.

Truthfully, I really don't know why everyone is so alarmed. If you received a 1099 from them, obviously you worked for a company that offered 401K whether you elected to enroll in a 401 K plan or not, the company automatically did for you. Since no contributions were made to the 401K or ROTH plans, it zerod out. Resulting in you still receiving a 1099 from this company once they got caught up on some records/accounts or finally came across your account. My mother receives her retirement check from here. She has been receiving that check for over 20 years. The checks are legit, so is her retirement. She worked for a mill that closed down years ago and this was the only option offered from that company was monthly contribution retirements disbursements checks. Though she is not able to get the lump sum, she has been receiving her check every month, on time for the last 20 years as well as my father before his passsing.

I waited until after the 1st of February to file my taxes, Then 3 days after the deadline for receiving 1099 forms one shows up in my mail. Late. I have to now pay to file an amended tax return, All my other documents were in my hand no later than the middle of january. No excuse for this type of poor performance. Everyone knows the deadline is 1-31 every year, they waited until the last second to mail them and then they are late. Thanks Reliance for costing me another 100 bux.

They have NOT UPDATED THEIR ADDRESS with the US Post Office (PO BOX in Sandy Springs) for over a year now. Their important-looking mail continues to be delivered to that PO Box, even though they no longer own it and despite my returning much of it as "no longer at this address". I wonder how attentive they are to their accounts if they haven't even bothered to have their statements forwarded since 2021.
