The Local on 14th

I've lived at The Local on 14th since 2019. Therefore, I've seen a few different management teams; the 2021 variety really left the place in shambles (rodents, insects, heaps of trash, etc...). And even though there were still mountains of trash on various floors throughout parts of 2022, I noticed a dramatic and sincere attempt to remedy the problems across the apartment community from May 2022 onward via the current management team. Additionally -- like most apartments -- some tenants have not made things any easier for the management: excessive yelling, trash and trash bags scattered across the halls, incessant smells in the hallway, pet droppings, cars parked in unassigned locations, and occasional vandalism. And while most of the aforementioned qualms have been taken care of, some still persist. This is not to say that the Local on 14th has no inherent faults: having visitors pay for parking, a need for more floor respective parking spaces to accommodate tenants, rather lacking gym equipment, a necessity for the pool area to be refurbished, and a poor execution of Luxer One and Amazon delivery working cohesively leading to rampant packages. Despite this, management has continued to try and fix as many problems as possible in a timely manner while still hosting community wide gatherings and offer assistance while being mindful of tenants time and emotions. To surmise, The Local on 14th is neither all good nor all bad; it's overall a nice place to live in Atlanta that is helmed by a steadfast management team willing to make things as good as they were in 2019 and ideally better. As a side note, the maintenance team for the apartment community is outstanding. Primarily Jeff and Rashad have been able to handle repairs and grievances that have troubled my unit since 2020 as prior maintenance teams seemed rather flippant and nonchalant. Those two chiefly and the rest of the current maintenance team are: reliable, diligent, honest, and above all efficient.

Just moved and love it staff has Been great. Traffic sucks, but thats not that their fault its Atlanta.

Jeff from maintenance is the best! He went above and beyond to address multiple maintenance requests within an hour of me submitting them, and he was incredibly personable. You can tell he truly cares about the work he does and the people he does it for. Management also addressed a rent issue in a timely and effective manner, which was greatly appreciated!

I had an amazing experience touring this apartment! Molly was very helpful, kind, and will answer any questions you have, no matter how many. Her kindness and willingness to help with everything made us gravitate towards this complex over all the others we toured. Unlike the other apartments Ive inquired about, The Local got back to us immediately via email, text, and call. This made the process so much easier and I would highly recommend checking out this complex! Update: Ive been living at the Local for about 2 months and my opinion hasnt changed! Molly continues to always answer my questions and concerns with kindness and care, plus they always provide a solution that Im happy with! I also feel completely safe in my apartment and around the complex. I cant recommend this place enough!
