I have used Acworth Animal Hospital for years. Than last week my opinion went downhill. I cant tell you how disappointed I am with Dr. Maxwell and the lack of care for my fur baby. My precious fur baby passed away yesterday and if I decide to adopt another fur baby I will be looking for a new Vet.

(For anyone reading this, notice their responses to all of these negative reviews. They're all the same. They're thanking me for helping them work through my concerns. Yet, absolutely nothing was done to address the issue. Gaslighting 101. You've been warned.) Poor treatment of our dog. Poor customer service. Practice Manager unwilling to refund us even after confirmation from members of her team of the poor treatment and service. Our dog had a double ear-infection, with thick, yellow discharge in both ears. Upon pick-up, his ears had not been cleaned, at all. He also had feces on his back legs from an accident in the crate. Even after pointing out his crusty ears and soiled legs, they failed to adequately clean him, leading to poop being ground into the carpet in the back of my SUV. They didn't realize he also had poop caked into all four of his paws. I called them as soon as I got home and noticed the mess. Still, no refund offered. This is unacceptable. Several of our friends warned us about this vet when finding out it's where we took our dog, saying they used to go there, but left because of poor service. Our initial experiences were fine, so we decided to stay. I guess we should have listened to the warnings. Lesson learned.
