Christian Brothers Automotive Acworth

Took my truck in for oil change and transmission fluid change, the quote I received was way cheaper than the dealership, it did need a few more items which was fine. Apparently when they were draining the transmission fluid and the type of truck I have ( Nissan Titan Xd) there is a fill plug as well, according to them the plug head was stripped with they were removing it, sounds like they used the wrong size tool or the wrong one completely. They called me and informed me that to do the job correctly the transmission pan had to be replaced a cost put on me, plus labor and etc. I was shocked that this had happened and I felt like Christian Brothers should have owned up to the plug being stripped and at least offer to cover some if not all the cost of replacing pan, they didn't so I just told them to put the plug back in as best they could and I'll have to figure something out, this service was extremely important for me cause my wife and I are getting ready to leave for Vegas to bring our daughter back home and I needed this done cause I'll be pulling a trailer to and from Vegas. This experience has left a horrible taste in my life and unfortunately I'll be looking for a different shop to have any work done on my vehicles, I'll never return to them.

We are from San Diego in an rv towing a jeep. When we unhooked the jeep in Acworth, Georgia our jeep kept loosing power. Not knowing who to go to we chose Christian Brothers Automotive from the internet reviews. We were staying at a local Campground and Christian Brothers took us back to the campground and pick us up when ready. Christian Brothers has been more than helpful in getting me back on the road.
