HCA Florida Advanced Women's OBGYN - West Palm Beach

I give my highest recommendation possible to this practice I have been there over 30 years first with Dr. Marineau and when he retired many years ago I chose Dr. Valdezcruz for my gyn care. Both Drs., very polite and soft mannered. The staff has always been polite, efficient and friendly. Lourdes and Maria I believe have been their since I have been a patient. Again, I highly recommend Advanced Women Ob/Gyn

HORRIBLE OFFICE!!!! THEY NEVER RETURN YOUR CALL WHEN THEY SAY THEY ARE THEY HONESTLY DONT CARE!!! I CALLED SO MANY TIMES TODAY AND I WAS TOLD THAT DR DAI WOULD CALL ME BACK I SPECIFICALLY ASKED IF SHE DOES NOT CALL ME BACK BY 4:30 SHOULD I CALL BACK SHE SAID NO THAT SHE WILL CALL ME AND THAT SHE WILL PUT IT IN HER NOTES TO DO SO AS WELL YOU THINK I GOT A CALL NO!! NO ONE CALLED YALL DONT CARE BOUT PEOPLE AT THAT OFFICE HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!

If I could put Zero stars I would. Now that I am reading the most recent reviews I shouldve checked before coming to this terrible practice. Im going to keep it short because it goes on and on. Been using this practice my whole pregnancy at 38weeks asked dr if it would be fine if I attended a funeral that is 3hrs away he did his exam and stated that Im no where near close to being in labor he said Ill make it to 40 weeks and In fact he said at 40 weeks if your still the same Im going to keep you 1 week longer. So basically that gave me piece of mind I can attend this family funeral. TWO days later 3hrs away I go into labor and had an emergency dr at the hospital deliver my baby. I call this office and tell them and proceed to schedule my postpartum exam and the rude desk lady said this is from the doctor himself, Im just the messenger He did not delivery your baby so he has the decision to deny patient care and very rudely refuses to see you as a patient anymore put yourself in my shoes imagine getting denied care because you went into labor after asking if you think its a good idea to go 3hrs away. Not only that there are no obgyn that will see me because they have zero history with me. So at this point idk what to do about my postpartum exam and it has me super stressed out m. I cannot go back to the doctor who delivered me because they do not have a practice and its was and Emergency on call doctor. So now I gave birth and without a dr because he didnt deliver my baby after he 100% told me I have at least 2 weeks left. I wouldve never thought in the medical field that its all about the money and not about patient care. It is ridiculous to refuse patient care for something like this m. I dont want this to happen to any other families so something needs to be done. I strongly advise everyone not to come to this practice. All recent reviews about front desk and nurses attitudes and appt times all all very accurate. This was my first baby and the worst experience ever.

I moved from out of state during my second trimester and tried this office. I was very disappointed to find out that the front desk was rude. They didn't know anything regarding insurance and overcharged my copay. They requested my records more than a month in advance and they didnt even print them for my appointment. I had to wait a long time to be seen. The doctor walked in and was clueless about me because he didnt have the records. I did have a complication during my pregnancy and to me it was important for the doctor to look my records prior. The appointment was rushed. All my concerns were not considered or heard. Honestly the worst place to go if you are having a tough pregnancy and require good care

Two months ago I attempted to make an appointment at this office over the phone and when no one answered. After several attempts I made an online appointment. The week of said appointment I was called by one of the office staff and was told yeah thats not actually an appointment its just a suggestion and then we made a new appointment. I got to the office early and asked the front desk if they had received my labs. She shuffled some papers and said no I asked if she could give me their fax number and she just pointed to the cards at the front desk, and said that they should be on one of those. They were not. I was then examined by Dr. Heroux who was lovely and attentive and I wish I could just rate her service, but unfortunately Ill never see her again because making an appointment is an impossibility. She told me to give the office a call when I was ready to order my IUD and the staff told me that I could message through the portal. That afternoon I tried to sign into the portal and it told me that I could not be found in the system. I proceeded to call them for a week with no answer because there was no way to let anyone know anything. So instead, I made an appointment online and like clockwork, they called to tell me that it was just a suggestion to which I told them that I only made the appointment because Ive been trying to get someone on the phone since the day I left there. Turns out they put in the wrong date of birth so the system couldnt find me. The staff told me they would place my order and let me know. That was 2 1/2 weeks ago. I messaged them three days ago for a status update, and have yet to receive an answer. Im going back to OB/GYN specialists because they actually answer the phone. And HCA if you leave me a message here saying to call the manager, please know that the manager doesnt answer the phone!
