Staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The first room we were in had a strange smell, and they changed us without any fuss. April, who works the front desk is an absolute sweetheart. For the value of the place, its a great deal and stay.
We were surprised (our fault for not reading closer) that you share a bathroom with other rooms (dorm style) but the bathrooms were clean. So if you want something more private you may want to pay for one of the 700$ a night hotels next door

In the cacophony of big brand resort hotels this is a true melody. The reception/checkin was one of the most accommodating and personable I've experienced and Omar is a great host. The 100 year old house radiates its history and the rooms are well equipped but could use a few repairs (e.g. blinds). The location is awesome as well. Overall a great value and experience.

I will be the first to say that I am a hotel snob and based off all the reviews I was very skeptical but I am so glad I followed my instinct and booked this hotel. We stayed for 2 nights in room 104 with a private bath and it was VERY clean, quiet and staff was AWESOME. Very welcoming and informative. The location was AMAZING. Literally, one block from all the fun downtown. If you are looking for somewhere safe to lay your head at a reasonable price in downtown Palm Beach, this is your place to stay. I would recommend you get a room with your private bathroom like we did and you will not have any issues. Parking was free after 9 directly outside the hotel and there was ample parking in the area for long term parking. This hotel reminded me of a stay at an auntie's house. There is a large dining table in the lobby where some of the other guests chose to dine and I thought it was kind of cool to experience that. In a world where everything is so fast paced this hotel took me back to a time when we all just sat back and relaxed and enjoyed the simpler things. I would highly recommend this place and I will definitely visit again.
Nearby activities: Great restaurants, great nightlife and you can even walk to the water.
Safety: The area was very safe, even late at night. They just updated the security system at the hotel and it was very convenient for patrons to get in and out.
Walkability: You could not find a better place to stay at this price point closer to all the restaurants, the trolley and the water. The location is amazing.
