I wasnt going to say anything about my experience but it still after 4 weeks doesnt sit well with me. I have been going to the ulta salons since 2017 & never experienced a bad hair stylist until i went to this one. I just moved to this area & needed to find a new stylist so i looked through all the options & found an elite stylist. I show up to my appointment & we sit down in the chair & she asked me how i like my hair & i said oh i always like to do platinum or an icy blonde. She scuffed & said sweetie you cant be a platinum blonde (mind you i have been platinum blonde for 3 years at this point & my hair at the point of the appointment was a level 9 or 10 blonde) & i said well ive had it done before so thats what id like & she told me shell see what she can do.Throughout the whole hair appointment shes making comments that were making me uncomfortable. For an example she was commenting on my psoriasis thats on my scalp & how i clearly need to start doing a moisturizing treatment (even though i do but with psoriasis it randomly flairs up & theres nothing i can do about it). Anyway we go through the entire bleaching process, toner & blow dry & when i looked in the mirror i saw a yellow/orange blonde. I was furious. she then proceeds to tell me by the way i added a yellow toner in with your usual toner because with your hair platinum is not achievable. I was so beyond angry because she did not tell me she was going to put any YELLOW in my hair. I let it go & just think how bad i want to get out of here. Then comes the total $204 i was there for a root touch up she charged me for a total blonde, root blend, & olaplex treatment. Every single time i have gotten my hair done i book for a total blonde & thats all they charge me which is around $112-$140. I got even more upset that she not only made me look like an orangey/yellow eminem but that she was adding random charges that ive never been charged before. I will now be happily driving to my old ulta to get my hair done because that was just ridiculous.

I went to Ulta today for a partial highlight and haircut. The hairstylist was very nice but I am extremely unhappy with the results. I wanted the highlights to match the rest of my hair which the highlights were on the bright blonde tone. This is the second time since my hair came back as I am a cancer survivor that I had highlights always blond tone. The only reason I came here is because I had a $50 gift card but I should have just bought makeup. I don't know why the stylist put a gloss on my hair which now it only looks like I have one color of auburn allover not showing any blond highlights at all . So $107 for highlights, $47 for haircut, and $25 for this gloss thing so $174 plus a $35 tip only because I'm a decent person and she did spend 4 hours while I thought was ridiculous. I will not give the stylist name because she is a nice person, but I am now with a color on my hair that I do not like at all. I can't afford another highlight which would be what I need because I have one unsatisfied color. I have worn wigs for 3 years and I shouldn't have to put one on to get the blonde look I asked for. I would like to be credited the $107 for the highlights that were not received. A very disappointed customer. Update; I am very happy to report the salon Manager refunded me. She went above and beyond and was very understanding.
