        We booked a non refundable reservation for 2 nights for the wooden boat show, and confirmed 2 days before arrival. When we got there they had us booked for a smoking room. that was not optioned in the booking. took forever for the clerk to find a non smoking room, then another long interlude then told the room was on the 2nd floor. Knee problems preclude climbing stairs. Another long wait before we were finally assigned a room with a king sized bed. Now the room. When we went in there were 2 wet spots on the floor. To prevent a slip I took a hand towel and wiped up the water. When I looked at the towel it was black with dirt. Moving on, When I turned on the light in the bathroom, the exhaust fan made such a rachet It was hard to stay in there. Then there was the mattress! let's just say it was way past it's "use by" date. And we had to ask for more pillows, which they had. All in all the experience was one I hope never to repeat, and definitely not at this property.

        Beautiful Grounds. Clean remodeled rooms. So cute, classy. From front desk, to housekeepers and maintenance Just the warmest most accommodating staff. Great snack and drink selection at desk. Beautiful pool and lake for golfing. So fun!! Right on highway. Your near everything. Great New Mgmt. Look forward to upcoming changes.
