    Excellent service and great product. We had roller shades installed in my Mom's bedroom and she loved it. I've used The Shade Store over the past 6-7 years and they never disappoint. Great products and great service....can't ask for anything more.

    Do not order cellular shades from this company. They appear to have a nice product and talk as though they are all about customer satisfaction. However, they are completely incapable of solving any issues related to defective product. i ordered my shades October 20 this year. they arrived as promised October 31st. 5 minutes after the first shade was installed something inside snapped and it was broken. I called right away and they agreed to remake and ship a new one. Then as the remaining shades were installed we discovered they were all made too short -- each shade had separate issues in addition. they open from the top down and bottom up...most of the magnets don't catch so only one side or the other will actually close all the way. when they are open all the way they don't stack evenly due to the magnets not catching. the tracks are also not the correct color...doesn't match the sample in the store. I was told someone would contact me to schedule a visit to review the issues -- no one did. then when i followed up i was told they were remaking my shades - no one did. then i was told they needed to talk to me about remaking my shades - no one called. then when i asked what the return policy is they sent me a blurb indicating i could get 50% off on a replacement set of shades@!$#$ when i said that's not really a return policy and i refused to pay to replace a defective product they said they had submitted my request for a full refund and that someone would be contacting me to discuss specifics. Mind you - i didn't ask for the refund -- i just asked for the return policy and said that i would not be spending any more money to replace defecitve product. That was 10 days ago and still i heard nothing. so today i emailed again and was told again they submitted the request and i should expect a shipping label -- when i do not know. so now i'm expected to MAIL 3K worth of shades that i can't even carry or uninstall myself? then wait to see if they acknowlege receipt and actually give me my money back? so far they have not done most of what they said they'd do. Just do yourself a favor and stay away. I can't even order from another company until this is resolve and they seem to be doing their best to drag this out as long as possible. I chose to pay a little more for these because i was impressed with the way the measuring was handled. I stand by that - the guy who measured was top notch and his measurements were spot on. but the manufacturing leaves a lot to be desired...the shade that they did remake was 1/4 wider than the first one....and longer. It's the best one but still not the color i expected based on the sampel in the showroom. i was told the shades woudl be white on the back....but the tracks show through the window and are not white on the back.
