This is my first time leaving a negative review for any business, but I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience with the receptionist, Dawn*. After weeks of attempting to contact TBHW, I finally reached Dawn, who rudely directed me to a voicemail she had left seconds before without allowing me to speak. Throughout the conversation, her attitude was dismissive filled with anger, and kept on repeating if you check your voicemail as she was bothered to be repeating herself. I asked her why such hostility and she proceeded to sigh and speak as she was scolding a childat the end of this horrible interaction, she incorrectly recorded my email, causing me to miss my initial consultation. Despite this, I decided to give TBHW another chance and scheduled my own consultation, diligently completing all required forms. Unfortunately, due to a time zone misunderstanding (on my end) I missed the appointment. When I called to apologize an hour after, Dawn accused me of yelling (which i dont know how one can apologize and yell at the same time) refused service and threatened to provide screenshots of our interactions to substantiate her claims in an attempt to discredit my review. I urge others to consider the recurring complaints about this receptionist's behavior before booking an appt, I always go by the positive reviews and discount negative ones as a one off, clearly this is not the case here. It's disheartening that Tampa Bay Holistic Wellness is represented by such unprofessional behavior, hindering their ability to provide care to patients that are truly in need.

From the moment I walked into Tampa Bay Holistic Wellness I knew I was where I need to be. It is a place of wellness and healing of the whole body and mind, as apposed to traditional medicine that only treats the symptoms of the problem. During my first appointment with Dr. Dawn she took the time to listen to me and ask questions about the chronic pain I've been dealing with for years. She is the FIRST doctor to listened to me and take the time to understand the type of pain I was dealing with and offer answers and solutions about how to get better. After my first cupping treatment I was able to take a deep breathe and expand my ribs cage without pain for the first time in over 10 years. I am looking forward to my journey to health and wellness with Dr Dawn.

I came to Tampa Bay Holistic Wellness to try acupuncture for the first time. Ive lived with migraine for about 15 years, and like many with this condition, have tried a range of treatments over the years. With my current medication regimen and trigger recognition and management I had seen improvement but was still experiencing on average 4 migraines a month. Id heard about acupuncture for migraine for a long time and at this point felt like what did I have to lose. The easy online booking and transparent pricing were great. At my first appointment, Dr Dawn spent time learning about my symptoms and triggers. She set realistic expectations for how acupuncture could be part of my migraine care, but was honest this would not be a cure all. And most importantly she spent time providing education about anatomy, function, and acupunctures role in migraine which I LOVED. As a traditional medical doctor this is always something I look for when receiving healthcare. After my first treatment I noticed the intensity of my headaches decreased. After my second treatment I noticed the frequency decreased. Ive been doing acupuncture here once a month for the last 6 months and with no other changes to the rest of my migraine care Im down to 1 headache a month! If youve been thinking about acupuncture, I highly recommend making an appointment with Dr Dawn. Her knowledge, skill, and care for her patients comes through in every visit.

Dr. Dawn Ann Molina does an excellent job of providing both short term relief from pain and long term improvement to avoid recurring injury. For me, Dr. Molina has provided an integrated approach to healing treatment through acupuncture, functional and targeted exercise, and general counsel for recovery from athletic injuries. I recommend Dr. Molina for anyone seeking a holistic approach through functional medicine that improves the mind, body, and soul!

Dawn is not the receptionist, she is the practice physician. You did not speak with Dawn or a receptionist, you spoke with our answering service. Readers: TBHW offers a 15-minute complimentary telemedicine call as a courtesy. Ms. Santana received a second opportunity to attend her 15-minute complimentary telemedicine call in light of the fact that the email address initially provided was incorrect. In accordance with HIPAA compliance TBHW requires that all patients complete all policy documents and medical history prior to their first appointment; whether telemedicine or in person. If we do not have a correct email none of the patient onboarding emails can be sent. After clearing up the discrepancy the first time for Ms. Santana, long after she had already insulted the answering service, we fixed the email address and Ms. Santana was successfully emailed her telemedicine call video chat web link to attend her call. She was sent her telemedicine call video chat web link a few times, both in her appointment confirmation email and in her appointment reminder emails. She still managed to miss the call. If Ms. Santana felt so disrespected after her first interaction, why did she wait until we declined care to write a negative review? TBHW understands that Ms. Santana is very upset that we decided not to provide care after she missed her second telemedicine appointment. We even waived the “no show fee” for her second appointment, because TBHW would rather decline care than keep the communications going with Ms. Santana. We wish Ms. Santana the very best in health and happiness. We sincerely hope that she can find a provider in which she can share mutual respect and understanding, like we do with so many others. All of our negative reviews come from individuals who we've declined care for. Although this may be dissatisfying for those who we turn away, it helps us to maintain a harmonious atmosphere for our patients and staff. We have a low bar for entry, but a high standard for conduct. Anyone can have access, but it’s how you conduct yourself that determines how long you’ll have it.
