VILLA STONE KITCHEN & BATH

Recently used Villa for a vanity stone top. We got very lucky with the perfect remnant and Villa did a fantastic job with manufacturing and installation. Im a cabinet maker and probably too picky, but they beat my expectations and their turnaround was quicker than I expected. Great experience all around.

I am really angry, the owner of this company subcontracted me to remodel some properties in Saint Pete Fl, after many attempts to charge for my work for more than 3 months, one day I complained about my charge and his response was to call the police and end up unable to return your business. Unfortunately I did not make a written contract and he took advantage of this situation, however he gave me more than three checks on different occasions and they were all without funds, in the last attempt to collect the bank gave me the answer that the bank account was closed. This man Nick owner of villa stone DOES NOT PAY HIS SUBCONTRACTORS

I worked for this company as a subcontractor and this guy Nick who is the owner does not pay his employees and does jobs to steal from his employees, he owes money to his contractors and does not want to pay, he already has a bad reputation with all the workers in the area I do not recommend doing business with a person who does not pay their employees

Villa Stone Kitchen & Bath is the best when it comes to remodeling the kitchen and bathroom with custom design marble , stones, and granite. They remodeled my kitchen; their price is very reasonable compared to other companies; they are very professional, do not procrastinate, and they pay attention to details. Since they remodeled my kitchen, my neighbor and friends have been showing off my kitchen to their friends. I truly recommend them for kitchen and bathroom projects in the Tampa Bay area, and beyond. ***Buyers Beware*** I typically only write reviews for outstanding service, but I would give Villa Stone Kitchen & Bath ZERO stars if I could, but Google doesn't allow it. Nahed "Nick" Abutaha, the owner of Villa Stone Kitchen & Bath, was referred to me by a friend because of their customer service, quality cabinets and prices that can't be beaten in Hillsborough and Pinellas County (Red #1). Side Note: My mother always told me, "If it's TOO good to be true, it typically is." I contacted Nick on 3/13/23 via phone & text regarding a kitchen renovation I was doing for one of my rental properties. After talking with Nahed, I emailed him the kitchen diagram and measurements. Nick later responded with a quote for the kitchen cabinets, labor, and countertop installation. Because the price was such a deal, and they could start in 2-3 days, I added the bathroom cabinets and countertops to the request and we settled on the price that evening. On 3/16/23, since I've never done business with Villa Stone K&B, I stopped by their showroom to meet Nick, look at samples of cabinets/countertops and finalize pricing for my project. Nick sent an invoice later that evening, requesting the entire amount up front (Red #2). I texted Nick soon after, advising him I'm not paying 100% upfront because I NEVER have and will NEVER pay anybody 100% upfront. So, once again, I stopped by the showroom on 3/17/23 to discuss payment schedules, etc. After talking with Nahed, showing him some bad reviews on Yelp, and offering to pay 50% before and 50% when the job is complete, Nick agreed to do my project without me putting any money upfront to gain my business. We looked each other in the eyes, shook hands, and agreed to NO MONEY upfront and only pay when the job was completed and I was satisfied with their work. (I have texts/emails to confirm everything I'm writing) Now let's continue; on 3/22/23 (Wed), I texted Nahed and asked when they would start my kitchen project. Nick responded if not tomorrow, Friday. Now remind you, Nick said 2-3 days to get cabinets and to start my project. Friday, March 24, 2023, was (7) days after we finalized and agreed on everything. I reached out to Nick on Saturday to see how the project was coming, but there was no response, so I stopped by the property. To my surprise, no one was there, nor was any work started. I immediately sent Nahed a text but received no response. After several unanswered texts and calls between 3/25 - 3/28/23, I stopped by the showroom Tuesday. To my surprise Nick was there but avoided me, acted too busy to talk to me and hid in his office to avoid facing NOT BEING a man of his word! Thank God I didn't pay Villa Stone K&B and Nick Abuhata up front or even 50% of the project cost. Villa Stone was supposed to do the cabinets for this project and my personal house project in the next few months, but they won't get any business from me, my family, friends, or colleagues, EVER! If you want to remodel your kitchen, avoid Villa Stone Kitchen & Bath and Nick Abutaha at all costs.
