Avis Car Rental

Our flight got delayed and so we were not able to pick up our car on the first day of our reservation because we did not get in until 6PM. We came 0800AM the next day to pick up the car and they had no cars they would rent to me even though there were 2 in the parking lot and he told me he booked one of them with someone else last night even though we had reserved ours first. He also told me he had 2 different families on the same reservation so he overbooked the rentals. I tried calling the manager and she did not answer. Poor customer service and problem solving skills. Do not book here.

5:22 pm the day before my early morning trip I was given a call to say that my reservation had been cancelled and there would be no cars for me. No cars anywhere around. I guess maybe my reservation wasn't expensive enough and now that cars were scarce why not cancel it? Not really sure what the point of making a reservation in advance is when they just cancel it on you last minute with no recourse whatsoever. Spend your money on a different car rental company. Avis clearly doesn't care.

CAN YOU ANSWER YOUR PHONE!!! I went this morning to get my paid reservation at 8am on the dot and this guys straight said he didnt have a full size, i recommended him that i was willing to pay the difference on the suv or downgrade to a compact and he told me that it wasnt able since I already paid in full online he wasnt able to make any modifications on the reservation. Told me to call back later to check if theres any full size available, called this guy 18 times (counted) and did not answer at all.

Rating Negative wouldnt even give one star. Canceled 15 minutes prior to pick up time via text. No decency to call and assist with other ways. Traveled 10 hrs on plane spent over 50 dollar in Uber fees. Unable to get another vender. DO NOT DO IT price is not worth it since you will be hit with other fees upon cancellation
