HORRIBLE! We arrived at 11:30 p.m. after hours of driving and were exhausted and just needed sleep. First, I'll start with the fact that they have no sound insulation whatsoever in this hotel.
You hear EVERYTHING! Within 5 minutes of laying down to go to sleep, the people upstairs were stomping around non-stop - after about 30 minutes, we called the front desk and told them how loud it was. We were told that they just checked in. With that, we gave it a bit longer to settle in but the stomping (no less than 4 people CONTINUOUSLY stomping back and forth) never stopped. Now it is 1:30 a.m. and we decided to bang on the ceiling. It finally stopped, but only for about 5 minutes. It started up AGAIN - and just as much as before. After another 30 minutes of this, I called the front desk again and they informed me that they would call them. The stomping finally stopped (oh, and sadly, I could even hear their room phone ring - that's how UNSOUND proof this place is). They walked around a little more light on their feet but now, it was 2:45 a.m. and we still hadn't slept! Then, at about 3:00 a.m. - it started up AGAIN! We wanted to just pack up and leave at this point but were too exhausted to move. We finally buried ourselves with pillows over our heads and fell asleep sometime after 3:00 a.m. Not only all this, but they put us in a connecting room (so there was a door leading to the room next to us) - AGAIN NO SOUND PROOF. We were woken up many times by the baby crying next door. This didn't bother me as the parents tended to the baby very quickly each time. When I checked out, I retold this story to the person at the front desk to offered me NOTHING in return for the horrific experience we had there! WE WILL NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER COUNTRY INN & SUITES ANYWHERE EVER!
