This place is a budget hotel and should be rated as such. I stayed here for 3 nights at $56/night. I was expecting it to be awful based on the reviews but it definitely wasnt. I read that they were undergoing construction but perhaps they have already finished because there was no construction when I stayed last week. The room was clean (except some dust/debris behind the trash can near the front door). The beds were very comfortable and I felt comfortable in the room. There were no stains and I thoroughly looked in and around the bed for bedbugs and sketchy stains and found nothing the beds were clean and smelled clean. The bathroom was also clean, the towels clean, and the shower pressure was good and the water hot enough. There was no housekeeping the entire stay I was there, but that didnt bother me at all. If I had stayed longer, I would have requested some, but for a 3 night stay, its not needed. The continental breakfast is very minimal. There was coffee, orange juice, and milk. Also microwavable oatmeal and grits packets, and also microwavable sausage sandwiches. There was raisin bran and frosted flakes cereal. They had yogurts, apples, and bananas. They had bagels and cream cheese, oatmeal pies and some honey buns. I think that was it. Definitely not a fancy continental breakfast, but it worked for me and again, it was $56/night. The location was good and near a lot of restaurants. I was disturbed by guests coming in a neighboring room one night but honestly it was very quiet in general. Check-in and check-out was fast. The door seemed securely locked and I wasnt worried about anyone getting in. Im not saying others are lying, perhaps the inn has cleaned up a bit after construction, but my stay was comfortable and I was happy with my choice.

Checking in/out was easy and quick. The room looked alright but was not the cleanest. Found food crumbs in obvious locations (chairs/tv stand) and there were stains on the bed covers. Shower head leaked so bad it was causing water damage to the wall and roof.
Walkability: It was close to FSU and had many restaurants and shopping stores close by.
