Parkway Square Apartments

Moved in last Wednesday now on day 6 without a washer, dryer, or stove with little to no communication of what is going on. Left for work today while a maintenance tech was here and asked if it would be resolved and he said yes and came home 8 hrs later to my dryer pulled out of the wall and nothing working still not very pleasant move in experience with essential appliances not working and moving into an apartment not move in ready

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! I REAPEAT DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! I HAVE TO EMPHASIZE THIS IN ALL CAPS SO YOU GUYS KNOW IM NOT JUST EXAGERATERATING!!!!!! Please believe all the negative reviews you see on here!!!!!!! Any positive reviews on here are probably the staff working in the office. If I could give this place a ----10 star I would!!! I do not even know where to begin. Ive been renting in Tallahassee for a few years now and when I say this has been the absolute worst place I have resided at!!!! First, they tell you that the rent prices for a 2 bedroom are $1,350.00 but when you move in and start paying rent, they start charging you all these ridiculous fees which ends up bringing your rent balance up anywhere from $60-100 more a month. They charge you $5.00 a month for the ONLINE PORTAL!! They charge $5.00 a month for pest control which isnt an issue, but YOU must be the one who REQUEST PEST CONTROL!! Even if you do not request pest control that month, they still charge you!!! AND EVEN WHEN YOU DO REQUEST PEST CONTROL, THEY DO NOT COME DO IT!! The Property Manager does not care!! We put IN SEVERAL WORK ORDERS WHEN WE MOVED IN 4 MONTHS AGO AND NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE!!!!!! We have not Had A.C for MONTHS!!! It is Florida!! We need A.C!!!! One of our Shower Knobs have been broken for MONTHS and we have not been able to use but one SHOWER!!!! How are we paying for 2 BATHROOMS BUT CAN ONLY ACESS ONE???!!! If you are petrified of BUGS like I am do not move here!!! They have ROACHES!! AND IM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE SMALL ROACHES IM TALKING THE BIG ONES!!!! The apartments are not worth it at all. DO NOT BELIEVE THE TOURS/PICTURES YOU SEE ONLINE!!! THE APARTMENTS DO NOT LOOK LIKE THIS!!! They are RUNDOWN AND OLD!!! NEEDS SO MUCH RENNOVATION FOR THESE PRICES BEING CHARGED!! The Apartments look GOOD on the OUTSIDE but on the INSID THEY ARE HORRIBLE!! Maintenance doesnt fix anything here!! Im telling ya No WORK ORDERS HAVE BEEN DONE FROM 4 MONTHS AGO!!! AND EVERYTIME YOU CALL THE OFFICE ASKING ABOUT THE WORK ORDER THEY KEEP GIVNG YOU THE RUN AROUND!! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICOULOUS!!! I WOULD KEEP GOING IF I HAD THE TIME BUT IF I NEED TO, I WILL COME BACK TO THIS REVIEW!! IF THEY TRY TO DELETE THIS REVIEW I WILL KEEP COMING BACK AND POSTING IT SO EVERYONE IS AWARE OF THESE PLACES!! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!

Do not recommend AT ALL. They take several months with maintenance requests, then close the requests before any work is completed. Occasionally they will schedule maintenance on a Saturday, I cancelled my plans and waited the whole day for them to never show up and not even bother to call. They do NOT provide the appliances to they clearly state they provide in the lease. The property itself is overrun by weeds and dirt. They refuse to clean up the sidewalks that are covered in sand, dirt, and have algae growing, causing the walk ways to be slippery. The windows do not have screens, been wait over 4 months for a window screen so that the only window in the unit can be opened. Overall, dont waste your time or money on these slum lords!

Maintenance sucks and leaves trash everywhere. The property is horribly run, apparently a new company took over a bit ago and it isnt what it used to be. I wouldnt pay attention to any old reviews, I would only look at the ones made within the last year when making the decision to move here. Unit was extremely dirty when I moved in, Im not sure it was cleaned at all other than a quick vacuum and surface wipe down. Pool is always dirty. Office does not accept packages so every single Amazon package I have ever ordered that wasnt small enough to fit in a tiny mailbox has been returned because Amazon drivers will not deliver it to your door. Every single one, dont think you will be the exception in this, I know several people who live here and they all get their packages delivered to other addresses because of this and I get mine delivered to work. Trash area is always extremely messy and since its at the front of the complex its one of the first things you see. Every time I have gone into the office there has been a resident there that has an issue with something, it seems everyone is having a lot of issues with this place. I made a huge mistake moving into this complex and I wish I could take it back but now Im locked into a lease and all I can do is warn other people. The rent is not cheap enough to be dealing with all these issues, go somewhere else!!
