Pillar To Post Professional Home Inspection

Buyers had a home inspection done in Boca Raton on a home I have listed in Boca Raton. This inspector named Scott Hotchkiss (name per buyers realtor) was completely out of control. He wouldn't do his inspection. He wanted to talk to anyone he could, including an appraiser that was at the house. I tried to stay away from him but he was always jumping in my face and ranting crazy talk. Even with a roofer coming, a termite guy and 4 hours OF RANTING this crazy inspector, he said he was rushed out and needs to come back. He didn't finish because he was sitting at the dining room table ranting and no one cares about his life story....he made very digesting derogatory comments. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO NOT GET YOUR INSPECTION DONE AND BE ABUSED BY THIS CRAZY INSPECTOR. Scott Hotchkiss SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO GO INTO PEOPLES HOMES. THE COMPANY IS PILLAR TO POST! I've been to over 1000 inspections with many companies and never one complaint from me. and this guy is out of control. and this crazy guy is BEYOND RUDE!!!! Just an example...He needed the garage door open and the door from laundry to garage open as well. After 30 over minute's, I said I needed to close laundry room door so lizards dont get trapped in the house. He said NO, he needed the light from the laundry room to see the panel. Which was as far as possible from that room. The light from the laundry room so almost no light He was not skilled enough to have a flash light. It took him forever to remove the panel. He then complained he couldn't read the panel. This was about a one hour process. I had no discussion about politics or anything but he kept ranting and also commented to me about "the former president having a 4th grade reading level' and then told me about his reading level and how smart he is, which clearly, he is not. This inspector is a moron. Then he started telling me a list of books hes reading. This crazy person doesn't shut up. He went back and forth, with no order, nothing he did made any sense and he left a huge mess from coming from garage to house 25 times because he's too dumb to finish one thing and then move on to the next. He offended everyone that was around. including neighbors and the appraiser, and the buyers realtor(who was to scared to speak up). The buyer left. I assume he wore them down till they just couldn't put up with this anymore.

Scott was my inspector with Post to Pillar, and is very thorough in reviewing my new home purchase.
