Red Carpet Inn Starke, FL

We were in the neighborhood and had to find a place for the night. There's a few motels next to one another, but I'm glad I went with the Red Carpet. The price was the best around, the innkeeper was nice, but more importantly the rooms were very clean, including the bathroom. The decor was cute and it had the amenities you'd expect. Food & drinks: There's a Sonic across the street. A 5 minute walk.

Denny is the best, this guy knows every person that stays there by name and he is there every morning to greet you and ask you how we're things and if you needed anything. He watches out for you and your belongings and will not let anything happen. Greatest guy in the world. Rooms: Not the newest updates but they are Comfortable and very affordable Safety: Nothing will happen to you or your things Noteworthy details: Great price, the best ever hospitality by Denny, I have never been treated and cared for like he does at a 5 star hotel.

Was not a fan of this Inn. You can tell it is very old and outdated. The room was, ehh, nothing special, the bathroom was run down, old, tiles on the floor cracked and needed regroutting. The shower curtain was DISGUSTING!! It was supposed to be white, but it was so dirty and old, and I just don't understand how they think this was okay. Also, they did not have an iron. We only stayed there because we were on our way to Tampa and have been driving for 15 hours. I would not recommend staying there. It was not clean or welcoming.
