Highland Homes Roofing

I hired Highland Homes Roofing to replace my asphalt shingle roof after doing my due diligence and reading their mostly great reviews. Due to several failures and lack of communication I can not recommend this company. The first failure was they ordered the wrong color shingles, which were delivered and placed on top of my roof. If I hadn't gotten on my roof to check, the wrong color shingle probably would have been installed. The second failure was that they didn't order enough shingles for the job and a Superintendent had to go fetch more shingles twice. The problem was that this superintendent didn't go to Melbourne where the original batch came from. Instead, he went to Vero, which resulted in the shingles not being color matched because they came from a different manufacturing lot. The pictures below reveal the finished product. My brand new roof literally looked like it had been patched after a storm. After my roof was finished I had to reach out to them to see if they were going to come by and inspect my roof. Two days later no one from Highland Homes had been by to look at the job they had done. Only after I made a complaint someone came out to look at the roof. They ended up ripping off most of the front slope to replace with shingles from the original lot. Even after this was complete no one came by to look at the roof or see if I was happy. I basically received a phone call stating the roof had passed inspection and they wanted my money. One of their employees also damaged my brand new gutter with his ladder. In the end they made it right and even replaced my gutter. It just took way too long due to their multiple mistakes.

Very impressed with this company. Prices are reasonable, especially compared to other local companies (because I compared) Andy came to my house, got the job done, very responsive, I am so pleased.

We just had a medal roof put on our house, the work was completed on the time stated, workers were neat. Cleaned up each finish of workday. We are extremely happy we have chosen you. Thank you for being a great company
