        Fabulous kayaking venue. Easy pace and informative guide. Fawning and wildlife make for a very interesting adventure. Restrooms: Modern and clean restrooms.

        4-th of July : there would have been parking for thousand of cars along the Bennie Franklyn Rd and side roads if the cops would declare a parking restriction free day to honor the 4-th, instead they had chosen simply to stay in their ac-cooled cars and waive to drivers turn-around (i.e. get out of here). Hundreds of cars had no choice other than to head back inland. What a sheer disrespect towards the public and towards the 4-th which should be a day of celebration for everyone.

        The trail is poorly maintained and nearly impassible due to water standing on the trail. It's teeming with hoards of smal crabs, fwiw.
