Myakka Outpost Inc

We enjoyed our stay at Myakka State Park. Took the tram ride, info on the park was interesting, besides the fact that the guide thot the wild hogs should be left alone! The hogs in fact destroy land/ farms if left to themselves. We saw 2 alligators? and 1 hawk. The speaker kept cutting out for the guide, who made apologies, but I remember the same thing happen 2 years ago. So are they keeping after repairs.? Google maps lead us to the north gate when exiting and it was gated which we had no choice but turn around and trek the whole way back again which made us very late for our farm tour schedule.

Beautiful place, but gift shop is very expensive. Lots of birds and alligators to watch.
