Aloft Sarasota

The hotel itself was clean but the price for valet parking was ridiculous, the room was super loud (there was a sound of running water very loud all night long and the vaulted ceilings do not help with noise), the a/c barely worked, and the beds were super hard. I called the day that I checked out to discuss this but the lady was not wanting to hear it. The location of the hotel was perfect but the room was not a place to relax of any sorts. Rooms: Beds are hard and room is very noisy. Walkability: Close to everything.

Walkability: Walk a block to Bayfront/ Marina Sarasota. The center of all the main st restaurants & shops ! Great location

What a perfect spot! Staff are friendly and attentive. Clean and up to date feel Noteworthy details: So close to everything downtown Sarasota. Great restaurants close. Shopping, art and beautiful marina steps away

Customer service was amazing. Rooms are good, except lighting. Lights are all bright, which is fine till bed time. No option for a little light a night to help find a way to bathroom.

Lovely stay at this Aloft location in Sarasota. The location was excellent as we were able to walk everywhere and didn't need our car for anything in town except going to Siesta Key or the wedding events. They are pet friendly as many guests were walking around the lobby with their dogs. For my cousins wedding, he had a block so we off course stayed here mainly because of the huge discount per room they had given him. The entire staff was awesome and extremely helpful from the front desk, bartenders, housekeeping and valet areas. The building is very new which means thick floor/walls and not much noise from above or beside. The decor is contemporary modern, layout of the rooms were smart and spacious, and we loved how everything was extremely clean. We didn't had to open our shampoo and conditioner as they had tons available in the bathroom. Did I mention the free bikes that you can use?!?!? We rode around town and out to St. Armands and Lido Key without having to rent bikes the entire trip. If you didn't want to do valet and pay $17 the night. You could've easily parked it in any available spots and it would be free. All in all we were very impressed and we will definitely stay there again when we visit Sarasota in the near future as we have gained a new cousin in law plus her family. Highly Recommended! Walkability: Many places and beautiful sights Food & drinks: Many nearby the hotel Noteworthy details: The girls cleaning the room daily are the absolute best!
