Life Storage SRB is a class of its own. Its maintained to a standard over the top. You will never see debris in the hall ways. Very well lit for night access. Mgt is responsive and very accommodating. All around great experience.

Life Storage is asking me to leave a review by sending an email, "How was your experience?" Well, I am happy to do so. Not only do I not recommend these guys, but I am actively telling others not to use Life Storage. Our initial experience was positive. We already had a unit in a competitor's facility. But we needed a place to store our RV, and our current facility was out of space. So we selected Life Storage. Several months after we started parking there, the security gate broke. Life Storage, according to the folks in the office, could not use a local technician to fix it. So it stayed broke for many months, perhaps six. We lost count. Having a secure facility was part of what we were paying for. There was no explanation from the facility. There was no commitment made as to when the repair would be made. There was no change in their monthly rent (even though they were not providing the service we had contracted for). We weren't happy, but it did eventually get fixed. Later, we needed additional climate-controlled storage. So instead of using our first provider, we chose Life Storage. We found their facility cleaner, newer, and better maintained (except for the gate, of course). Our long-term plan was to leave our initial provider and consolidate into Life Storage. And then the gate broke again. Once again, no heads up from the company, no consideration in the amount of rent paid, and no mention as to when it might be fixed. We felt like we were being loyal, understanding tenants. We were then rewarded with, shall we say, an increase in rent? Our RV spot went from $184 to $269 a month. What? Really? A 46% increase? You are joking. No? There must be a misunderstanding, so we called. Nope. "You understood correctly." There are now plenty of storage facilities in our area. And new ones are being actively built. It is apparent that Life Storage does not value its customers. We immediately moved our RV. We will also be moving our items from the climate-controlled area to a different facility. A 46% increase?! Really?! Pound sand!
