I have always taken my dog Murphy here for four years. I have had no problems until today. My dog came home and hes on my bed licking his foot. I look down and he is bleeding all over my comforter and I look down at his nail and it is cut extremely too short. I picked him up and he was just consistently bleeding from the nail so I had to wrap it up and disinfect. I called the lady that owns the place and tried to talk to her about my experience. I listened very intently while she told me that he was not bleeding when he left and that it was probably the concrete that made it bleed and that I could bring him back and she could add something to it to stop the bleeding. I tried to talk multiple times and she would just constantly cut me off when I was just trying to share my experience. I had to stop her and ask her to please let me speak without being interrupted which she responded okay, and then kept cutting me off. At some point I just said Okay I dont like how shes conducting herself and her customer service. It is one thing to just say yes I cut the nail too short and apologize but its another just be so defensive and keep cutting off a loyal customer when they are trying to express their concerns. Mind you I wasnt even asking for money back or anything just that she be more careful with him and other pets in the future. So I said okay since you dont want to take my feedback and just want to continue to cut me off I will tell my friends and dog owners at my college nearby my experience and warn them about taking them to the establishment. She quickly responded with how that would be slander and how she knows the president of my school and that if it comes back from her that I have been talking badly about her that she would sue me for slander and then hung up the phone. She then texted me right after she hung up to reiterate that she would sue me for slander and she knows a lot of people at my school. She never apologized on the phone call and said I apologize for it happening but I didnt do it on purpose. If you are contemplating taking your dog to this establishment I would be very careful and make sure to check your dog before leaving or just go to a better pet groomer. Because for me it wasnt that it happened it was the blatant hostility and threats of suing that will prevent me from returning. Just simply take responsibility for ones actions isnt thats difficult.

Thanks for your reviews. I was trying to decide if I would use this groomer. I stopped by her shop to meet her and I wasn't impressed. She was cold. I got the impression that I was interrupting her. She never even acknowledged I had a puppy in my arms. Very unfriendly. I didn't feel ok leaving my baby with her.

Ive come to lady and the tramp for years and although the owners have changed the amazing service has remained the same. Highly rated!

I took my 16 year old dog here to get her nails cut and NEVER again. My dog is blind with CHF and startles very easily. The groomer who cut her nails was holding my dog yelling as loud as could be at her own dog she had brought to work and the other dog she was grooming. My dog was absolutely panicked! I will not bring my dog there again, that experience will forever be engrained in my brain. No respect or compassion towards my dog, the dog she was grooming, or even towards her own dog that she brought in. Truly heartbreaking...
