I stopped in to book an appointment at a friend's recommendation. I got a friendly greeting from Cody. He answered my questions and booked an appointment for my 42lb Standard poodle. Went I arrived for my appointment. Quincy was standing behind the half grooming door. Looking at my dog he told me she was matted. I asked him to touch her before he came to that conclusion. (at this point I should have listened to myself and left with my dog) We discussed the grooming. I was told I'd get a text to pick her up. When I arrived to pick her up she looked good. Quincy said he was impressed that she was brushed out. That normally he has to shave dogs like her down. I told him I'm retired groomer and grooming salon owner. I paid $145.00 for my grooming including tip. At home I looked her over. I found that the pads of her feet were not groomed, her ears weren't clean and the hair wasn't removed from the ear canal. These are standard grooming sanitary procedures. A few days later it was clear by her licking. She had brush burn(brushed to raw skin)in her left hook and curve of her tail.The friend that recommend them said I should go in and talk to Quincy about it. At her advice I stopped in to talk to him. From the moment I walked in Quincy's greeting was cold. As I tried to explain my concerns his response was short and cut me off. "Do you have the dog with you?" I didn't have her with me. "You need to bring her back today or tomorrow morning so I can see what your talking about" Again I tried to explain the issue , even said I have pictures for him to look at. He wasn't interested in hearing my concerns. I did not return with my dog. I do not recommend this groomer. He's either poorly trained or just doesn't care .

I bring my dogs here every 6 weeks and they do a great job

Happy to be bringing my 2nd generation of dogs! Wouldnt go anywhere else been coming since they opened :-)
