Cottonwood Bayview is ideally located in downtown St Pete...you can walk everywhere from it. The maintenance team at Cottonwood is so prompt and competent. Any issue I've had has been resolved within 24 hours! Management has always been very responsive. The community of people who live at Cottonwood are kind, fun, and helpful. The common areas are kept very clean and the apartments are nicely appointed and kept up-to-date.

Update: Again today March 15 2024 (although this time due to a moving truck hitting a fire sprinkler)
Update: In the time since I originally posted this review THE FIRE ALARM HAS GONE OFF TWO MORE TIMES UNANNOUNCED.
In the ~1.5 years Ive lived here, there have been more unplanned fire alarms than during my time in every other complex Ive rented from combined.
Adding to that, they re-did the hallways to have hard floors instead of carpet, so the alarms are heinously loud in them. I bought hearing protection just for when the alarms go off.
They dont help my cat though, and she inevitably spends the rest of the day in a corner in the closet because shes so frightened afterwards.
Basically, if you enjoy peace of mind for yourself or your pets, look elsewhere.

Our Residency now at 5 years, we remain exceedingly pleased by the quality of the establishment and professionalism of its Staff, who have always been very attentive and highly considerate of our needs. Most recently, the expeditious replacement of the Pool Heater, sustains our enjoyment of one of the few DTSP heated pools. The value of being a Cottonwood Bayview resident can not be overstated.

Cottonwood is an excellent place to live in downtown St Pete
