Peña-Peck House - Woman's Exchange

If you enjoy history you need to stop by this house that has gone through Spanish, British, and American hands. Not only is the history neat, the current work they do with the Womans Exchange is vital work and provides scholarships for women. Go see what an early American kitchen looked like, and tour the bedrooms and dining room of the house. The tour guides were knowledgeable and very friendly. The gift shop supports not only the historical home but also the ongoing work of the Womans Exchange.

Excellent tour! This was one of our favorites of the trip. The tour guide was very informative. You could tell that the guide really loved her job and the good work that the Woman's Exchange does. Be sure not to miss it.

I toured several historical sites during my visit to St. Augustine. The Pea-Peck House really stands out as an exceptional place to visit. My tour with docent Marlene was so interesting and informative. The women is the gift shop were also very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the house and its preservation. I plan to visit again on my next trip to St. Augustine.

If you are looking for historic homes to tour in St. Augustine, this is what you are looking for. The tours are donation based, which is a plus. Our docent was kind, knowledgeable, and clearly interested in the home and its history, which led to her being an excellent guide. The home is in amazing condition and filled with furniture ORIGINAL to the home owners. Highly recommended.

Local women who are making a difference for younger women. Very cool gift shop right in the heart of the tourist attractions- also an historical home -decked out- they will show you. I was so inspired.
