The front desk people who checked us in were very nice. And this hotel is dog friendly which we needed, however it is showing its age and the room had a strange smell. But we were just using it to sleep so it was sufficient for our needs. So overall we cant complain.

If there was the ability to leave negative star rating- trust me- I would. I have read multiple reviews- after the fact, but this property should be condemned. I would encourage ownership to take action versus posting some delusional response. This place is the absolute worst! Makes my all time Bottom 5 venues. If you plan to stay overnight- book anywhere but here!!! I will not waste anymore time because it is obvious that all reviews fall on deaf ears! Big thumbs down to this establishment. I will be contacting the BBB in St. Augustine!

We came here based on the photos from the hotel for my daughters 10th birthday trip. The rooms were not the same as the images AT ALL. The room was damp and dingy and had an odor. My husband instantly got a headache from the dampness in the air. There was black mold in the shower and water damage above our beds. They only offered thin sheets, no real blanket whatsoever. The walls in the bathroom were also dirty. Worst of all, we opened the refrigerator in the room and it smelled like rotten raw chicken juice. It was horrific. We checked out after one night and the only reason we even stayed one night was because we arrived around midnight. See attached photos of the black mold and water damage and dirty walls.
