We stayed in this property since October 2018 onwards everything was going great but suddenly they have made some changes in the maintenance requirements which I found to be very weird.My air conditioning stopped working all of a sudden around 6:20 pm in the evening and when we called the emergency maintenance helpline the guy on the phone told that this is not an emergency request so they are not going to come and fix it. My question is how in this scorching Florida weather a family can survive without air conditioning n that too with a 4 year old toddler. After giving this type of service they have increased the rent 40-50%.

Currently awake when I should be asleep because they scheduled an all day maintenance without proper notice or checking with me. This is definitely not the only issue Ive had with them, for $2800 a month for a 2 bedroom you can definitely find better places to live. Edit/Addition - my kitchen has not had its island cabinet for about 2 months because it was taken down to do unscheduled dishwasher maintenance and not replaced. We had a $1,300 water bill last month when its usually $40, called the office and they rudely said they know nothing about it and cant help at all, the water company said that is a common occurrence at the Epic and that they see water bills over $1k frequently there due to leaks. We met someone else who lives here who also said they got a $2k water bill due to likely an unknown leak and Epic did nothing. Today there is an impending hurricane that is causing evacuations in less than 24 hours, called the office because there has been 0 communication so far, and a very rude gentleman named Matt I believe answered and then hung up as I told him there should be email communication already as many nearby communities have already gotten evacuation notices. I will say, the maintenance guys themselves and Erik from the leasing office are always polite and prompt, but I think the other 2 in the office are mainly the problem. The responses saying talk to Vanessa, nobody wants to talk to her lol
