        On Friday, March 29th, I bought an alternator for my automatic 2012 Accord from Advanced Auto for around $300. Despite installing it, my car still had issues. I returned to the store multiple times last week for them to test the alternator, but they insisted it was fine. After a week of troubleshooting, I had to take my car to a shop where they discovered that Advanced Auto sold me the wrong part for a manual Accord. This mistake not only damaged my battery, costing me over $200 more, but also delayed the repair process. Even when they brought a replacement alternator, it turned out to be defective. (Unbelievable to me that someone still couldnt take the time to ensure I was getting a working, and correct part) Now, after a week of hassle, the root of the problem seems to be Advanced Auto's failure to ensure they provide the correct part, leaving me out of over $1,000 and my car still not running as it should have been a week ago.Extremely disappointed, frustrated, and broke because of this experience. I will never purchase anything else from this company.
