What an experience! I really cant express in words how grateful I am. The care and the time they took to explain, the what, the how and the why they do what they do, because they care about the client not the insurance company. I needed a cleaning but its been a few years cause of COVID. They took a lot of x-rays and I was denied a regular cleaning. Dr. Kandi informed me if he gave the regular cleaning, then the insurance company would not cover the other and I needed the deeper one. Due to all the x-rays I could actually see I really needed a deeper one. So I agreed. When it comes to dentist and dental insurance it is not always fair and it does not seem to cover what you need. This office knows this, so they go above and beyond to not just cover the surface or cover over problematic areas because your insurance wont pay, but rather work with you to get you back to your healthier smile even if its at a loss for them. Yeah sure everyone needs to get paid and paid something, but this office wants to make sure that they see your whole mouth this allows for nothing to be missed. A well informed doctor is a good doctor. So many dentist miss things that has cause people to lose part of their jaw due to a cavity that was missed, which happened to my dad, or only see one bad tooth when there was three. Which I know can lead to heart disease and other problems. So I am glad they took in all these X-rays. However, In this electronic world we get our explanation of benefits quick and it makes you aware what was covered or not covered. This can scare you as it did me. I thought I was in network and they were not in my network. Which also scared me cause I thought I was, due to some misunderstanding. So we, my husband and I, went to question it. Lisbeth has to be one of the most patient people I have ever meant. She politely and calmly answered our questions which I had no appointment for, yet she took us to an office right away, even though they were busy. She listen to my concerns. She wanted to help us. And help us she did. My husband can be loud, some would say make a lion cower, but he is loud naturally and people can be intimidated by that. Although, he did well to try to stay calm, he was adamant, he did not want me being taken advantage of, which is understandable. She continued to be kind and patient with us. She was diligent in informing what the insurance will pay, she showed me with my insurance company how its the same coverage whether in or out of network. She showed me what they charge and what they also take as a loss to be affordable to care for the necessities. Also Shirley another staff member, briefly came in and also assisted to help with the concerns, cause as I said my husband is loud naturally. Shirley left to take care of another client. But Lisbeth kept helping, by highlighting out. To clarify my misunderstanding. Once all said and done, we left happy well informed and assured that this office is not just a dentist office, its your family. I truly can not express my appreciation my gratitude for the honesty and the dedication of Lisbeth. A good dentist without a good staff is hopeless. Thank you Lisbeth so very much helping us.
