Came in for A/C freon leak and system not cooling. Pepboys says condenser is leaking. They charge $950 to replace and recharge and 2 days later its not cooling again. $950 is overcharging especially when autozone has the part for $211 and now I gotta bring it back in *Update* Manager offered me $250 of my $950 back for a fix that did not work. I declined as that is way less than fair considering I have to find someone else to fix the AC. He says either his boss or corporate will contact me. After 2 weeks I call the shop and the manager is out for 1 week. They again tell me someone will call me. Of course no one does. Almost 4 weeks after the service and not even a call. Smh. As a customer you can tell when you matter to a business. You matter when you are a paying customer needing service. You dont matter to them when they've misdiagnosed your issue and gotten paid already. Smh.
