I had the distinct privilege of working here from August to November in 2023. I was hired as the administrative assistant, and I loved almost every aspect of the job. The Engineers here were knowledgeable about their craft, and were willing to teach me as much as I asked regarding the MEP design of their various projects. They also allowed me to begin learning how to use AutoCAD and Revit to assist in the day to day aspects of the job. Michelle "Mickey" Peacock was my direct supervisor, and she was a delight to work under. The principals were all very kind and willing to correct me on any mistakes I made during the employment. Like every office, there was a little interpersonal issues that arose, but that is par for the course for any small group in close quarters for 9 hours a day. Most issues were easily solved and resulted in amicable solutions. Unfortunately, whether due to my generational differences or personality, I was not offered continued employment after my 90 days. If you have the opportunity to work with or for Peninsula I highly recommend it.
