Grand Bohemian Orlando Meetings

After we were cancelled from our room that had a confirmed reservation. I was shocked that the current manager doesnt care about his guests, we had this reserved 2 months ago. The emailed cancellation had no reason. I called to talk to the Manager, of course I got his assistant. She just didnt know to lie and it was clear they dont care. The place is convenient to many events, but its over priced, and its kind of snobby, I never felt welcomed. Fortunately there is a new Hilton Downtown Orlando! Probably less then half the price of uppity expensive Bohemian and instead of a $50 breakfast, you get it free at the Hilton! Last thoughts. Since they were sold out Im assuming theres some unethical doings, maybe the manager or an employee made a deal? I really should alert Marriott (owns them) and blow the whistle. I sure do not want to go there, they cant be trusted.

Stay at your own risk. I must warn people. This is privately owned and the worst hotel I've ever been in- and I'm not even picky. It is falling apart. - pool AND starbucks under renovation and no notification online before booking - AC is motion censored so when you sleep it shuts off and you sweat all night, never got lower than 74 degrees. - phones didn't work, TV wasn't working, toilet barely flushed, no fan in bathroom - changed our room 3x because they couldn't figure out which ones were empty and clean - the Bohem restaurant inside - food and staff were AMAZING besides dirty coffee cups and watered down coffee. - their whole system shut down and they had to do everything manual like check ins and outs, etc. Took a longggg time - we were lucky to get cool water in the shower because the 1st room was BOILING hot. - not complimentary bfast unless a voucher. VERY difficult and time consuming for them to reimburse any points or anything because privately owned. - cheap art

Good location, nice rooms ( our A/C turned off in the middle of the night), the lobby has a super strong aroma, they charged for overnight parking ($38) and it is a pretty pricey hotel !! Ahhh the pillows super super thick. Headache warranted!!! Overall I wouldnt choose this hotel again
