Caveat: I have spent all my adult life in customer service, so I tend to read reviews cautiously, knowing that outside circumstances and let's face it, a "bad day" can sometimes unfortunately and often times unfairly frame one's experiences. At the the time we may feel we were done a disservice, when from another's point of view we are projecting are anger from extenuating circumstances. So I always wait, reflect and re-evaluate the experience to detach any emotional baggage, because I am an optimist, and believe those of us in customer service of any kind have a penchant for care over profit, knowing that doing the right thing always becomes the surest way to ensure true growth and longevity. So...when my mother, whom is a septuagenarian with extensive mobility issues caring for my step father who has dementia and just recently had a stroke had a caroded connection to her washer machine, she called several plumbers. Leonard's wasn't chosen out of convenience or cost, but rather a recommendation from a trusted friend. They showed up on time. Worked with urgency and demonstrated trade knowledge and professionalism. Their final invoice matched their estimate ( with the additional drain which my mother in mid job asked if they could fix) when they left the overall feeling we had was gratitude and a sense of satisfaction one gets from being "taken care of", when it's done right. Then the toilets and showers backed up several hours later. Mistakes and mis-steps are often made in any service, how you handle them can define your worth more than almost anything. She called and left a message on their messaging service, the next day..no reply. She called that day and left two, soft spoken, concerned messages. The next day, no reply still. This has gone on for 8 days. No reply, no answer. Her concern has mired into disappointment and the pile of wet towels near the unusable washing machine grows higher and wider daily. I do them at the laundromat because she knows they "are probably just busy" and that they will call her back. She is a kind and forgiving woman. I, try, but fall short here. This company is a joke. Charlatans and thieves. Please do seek service elsewhere if you want it done right, or just done at all
