Magnolia Bakery

I had to find an Italian caterer in a pinch. I did my research and found this little gem in Ocala all the way from Coral Springs Florida via the Internet. Linda was so gracious and kind and patient with me on the phone. They made amazing suggestions and the order came out perfectly not Is she a great baker, Linda is a fantastic Italian chef. I phoned my order in at 11 AM and she had it delivered at 6:30. Everything was delicious and perfect. She fed over 15 people with this order and everyone Completely satisfied and full. I highly recommend Linda at Magnolia bakery for authentic Italian food and delicious pastries.

I love good Italian bread, but I never noticed this Italian bakery before, even though I passed it dozens of times. It turns out that this bakery has been there 50 years plus! I didn't have any cash on me yesterday, so I thought I should stop in and see if they take credit cards. They gladly take credit cards! I first thing I noticed about this bakery was the wonderful smells of home cooked Italian dishes and it was like walking into grandma's kitchen when she was having the entire family come for the holidays. The second thing I noticed was it was like a time a capsule because it was like I remember how things were in the 1960s and 1970s very old school atmosphere and extremely well kept and spotlessly clean and orderly with a few tables to sit and have lounge and eat lunch. They serve hot Italian food and pastry as well as real delicious sub sandwiches made on fresh baked Italian bread This is the real deal Italian bakery like bakerys were 50 years ago. This place serves gourmet coffee and pastry Italian dishes and of cause Italian fresh bread. All real ingredients nothing artificial go's into the food served here. The owners name is Linda and she works at her bakery everyday as they did in the old days. I give them a lot of credit for remaining old school quality. The entire staff at Magnolia Bakery are some of the nicest people I have known in my life. If you are making a party or need a wedding cake that is a cut above the rest this is the place to go. I am extremely fussy about quality and this establishment exceeded my expectations buy a lot! Bring your children here to give them an experience to to remember. 5 stars plus

The Saturday before Easter there were multiple people including several elderly people waiting out in the hot sun for at least 20 minutes because this bakery did not open at 11am which is the opening time stated on the website. There were several employees inside, but the door was still locked at 11:20, which is when I left and went to a different bakery. This was my first time trying this bakery and obviously the last. What kind of business leaves people waiting out in the heat with no explanation. Several people were there to pick up their Easter order. We called to ask when they will open and they refused to answer the phone. Apparently they dont realize there are a ton of other great bakeries in Ocala. I left and went to Betty Cakes!
