I came in to sign my son up since my daughter was signed up and was told I was not allowed to sign up my son because dad said no! I'm sorry but that's getting in the middle of family matters and that is not ok in my opinion

I have trained at AMA for years and honestly, I love this dojo. I even came back to train after a 5 year hiatus for college. Training here, and coming back, are two of the best decisions I've ever made. It is a close group of students who train hard and work together well to help each other create a constant self improvement. AMA and Sensei work daily to provide a fun and respectful atmosphere where my family and I always feel welcome and appreciated. They also do many programs and events for kids and women's self defense. This place is not just my dojo, it is a place where I forget my stress, work my body, make lasting friends, and learn more about myself every day that I train. Come check it out. I am so grateful to have found this Karate school. I became a single mom who needed an After Care for my daughter and I let her try something different. They picked her up from school, then she trained and did her homework. That was over 3 years ago. We now both belong and are students at the school together, shes a Red Belt and I just recently joined and became a white belt. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Sensei is firm, but fair. She has always been there for me and my daughter both with support and advice. Shes also incredibly down to earth and real. I have a great deal of respect for her and the way she teaches. AMA has become more than a community but more like a family to us. My daughter has learned way more than self defense skills. Shes learned integrity, self respect and respect for others, self discipline, and more. When I moved further from Immokalee I searched for another dojo that could compare, but I have yet to find one. I tell all my friends looking for something different for their children that this is the way to go. Thanks!
