Visiting Angels

I called Visiting Angels (Biscayne Blvd - Miami) because I will be moving to Miami to finish up my college exams and to live closer to my client of 4 amazing years! I told my client that it will be a great idea to sign up with an agency because I would be working with a team rather than alone that way I can finish my nursing career on the side! When I called to get information regarding the possibilities of signing up while transitioning to Miami in 3 weeks, the OWNER rudely said Call me when you have a zip code. I was confused by this response, because she didnt even take the time to explain the reasoning behind this since i only live 30 mins away. I wasnt even argumentative at all. I just wanted some information for me and my client. A better response shouldve been: Thank you for your interest in signing up with our company, we would love to speak with you in regards to the possibilities of using your services but unfortunately, you do not have a current residence in Miami & because of that, our policy does not allow us to move forward with the interview process. INSTEAD, she left me completely confused and speechless with her negligent response. She rushed me off the phone. I even called back because my client was interested in signing up until I get settled and move. I just felt so embarrassed because I told my client & her family that this is a good agency for 24 hour care. I understand people are busy but taking one minute to briefly explain your zip code policy should NOT stress you out that much!

Karen Scott is fantastic, kind and caring and always on top of things. Caretakers are professional and kind and have done a wonderful job caring for my mom for the last 6 years. I am grateful to have them, invaluable help!!
