So it seems all the rating are true. Mr Aynur tried to rent car in this office with his debit card. Upon arrival for pick up at the scheduled time he was denied the service based on... having a RUSSIAN passport (!!!!) No other reasons were provided and he received ticket that the amount he paid for car rental is to be refunded to him in full. Copy of this ticket is available for show. However, as he was concerned when and how he will receive the refund, he sent tickets to technical support. And he was advised that such actions are rightful from Avis part (Say "Hi!" to segregation and racism) and funds would not be returned to him as cancellation happened AFTER scheduled pick up. I wonder, how it happens that no employee of Avis knows the fact that if the service is not provided on Avis behalf funds MUST be returned. Otherwise it is fraud and thievery. As former russian resident I want to be sure people consider this situation in future and think twice before using service of Avis. What next excuse they will use to steal your money? As US person, I wonder how the company with such segregation is allowed to exist. I would really appreciate if Avis can reply to this on short notice as russian speaking community, who lives in USA for decades on legal standing are now quite interested in this case. otherwise we consider this case as a ground for legal action - Fraud on not providing the service requested and paid for - Thievery for not returning the funds on timely manner. - Racism and segregation based on nationality I really hope the situation can be resolved soon.

Got told that despite having a reservation, they did not have any cars left. They then directed us to another Avis where they told us there would be another car waiting for us. Arriving at the other Avis we were told that the reservation was never transferred and we had to wait for around 1.5 hours to get a car. Joke. AVOID
