According to news reports...everyone just got evicted on rather dubious terms...i would really suggest thinking hard before leasing space with this organization anywhere they own property

Hi, we have lived at Hamilton now for 8 yrs. For the last 4 yrs ever since Hurricane Irma the building has been in shambles. We’ve been under 4 management companies, the building is dirty, and now we will be losing the use of our balconies. The dust in the building & in our apartment is more then we can handle. We will not be renewing our lease,

I have been leaving in Hamilton on the Bay for the last 6 years in the apartment 311. My husband and I always spoke about how hard it was going to be leaving the building, and we always thought that was going to happen only when we were able to buy our own property; but we had no clue of the nightmare we were going to have living here when AIR Communities/Aimco bought out building the last August 2020. They miserabley lied to us. We were incentivized to sign their contract, for 24 months. Then, a month after we signed, we were informed, along with another 140 families, that our NEW LEASE was going to be terminated early. They blame the construction, and pipes, and I can not even name how many other lies they have told us. The only truth is that more than 200 people, elderly, handicaps, babies, like mine one year old son were kicked out of their homes. Why?! Because, THIS IS A COMPANY WHO MAKES PROFITS OFF OF PEOPLE, that’s the only truth. I have literally 3 days left in this building that so many of us have been calling home for years, and they don’t even have the decency to let me pack my stuff with peace. Since 8:00am, Monday to Saturday the noise in unbearable, having almost a whole empty building, they choose to work near the occupied apartments. Thank you AIR Communities/Aimco for turning Living in Hell the place that I once called Paradise.
