I previously took my 2 kids on a party boat fishing trip ( Not Captain Dan ) out of the same marina where we got on Captain Dans boat. Waste of $300 for the 3 of us. Didn't catch anything worth mentioning. Spoke with a few different people who said you gotta book one of those $1000 Fishing Charters. You'll forget about the money, but the memory will last a life time. Determined to redeem myself and restore the the faith back in my kids that Dad isn't a scrub, I searched through a sea of Key West Fishing Charters and landed on Second Nature by chance. This year I brought my youngest so myself and my 3 kids Ages 5, 13, & 15. I called in advance to see if a 5 year old would be ok? Captain Dan said absolutely. He recommended inshore as deep sea can be a little rough. I told him we want big fish! We're in the sport fishing capital of the world! After an hour's ride Captain Dan & his boat hand? First mate? Idk what you call him, but his name is Zane. Started catching nice size fish off lured immediately. I was a tad bit jealous, but they said... these are bait fish! They caught them first cast, every cast, and seconds later they're handing my kids and I baited and casted (dropped in the sea) deep sea rods. And almost immediately we we're catching the biggest fish of our lives. I told Captain Dan I want big fish!!! I didn't know what I got myself into. Something hit like a truck and I was in for the biggest fight of my life to date, bar none, than any other time I've been fishing to date. I felt like I just went a round with Mike Tyson, only it lasted 30 minutes ( ok, slight exaggeration) but the fight was real. I wasn't sure if I could continue at one point. My Son caught the 1st fish, estimated 20lb Black Grouper. My daughters were catching very large barracudas, I caught an estimated 40lb black grouper, we caught amber jacks, and that monster of a fish that I caught was a 200+ shark! Which I was hoping was anything but a shark, but for my kids it was the coolest thing ever and this trip was all about them. Definitely highly recommend Captain Dan & Zane! They made us all feel like we knew them for years and we were good friends. And that only happens when you have good hearted people in my opinion. We will definitely be back to try the inshore fishing!

Captain Dan and Zane took my five boys and I out on Second Nature and it was absolutely fantastic experience! My boys will be talking about it for a long while... Captain Dan and Zane are very professional and knowledgeable, and are great guys to go fishing with! Well worth it!!! Will definitely hire Captain Dan again!!

Awesome day fishing with Captain Dan and the crew!! They were professional, and fun!!! They made sure we catch all the the fish we can!! We caught a 10 foot Lemon Shark!!!! Boat was clean and super nice!! I will higly recomond them!!!!
