This was such a great experience for first timers on a boat! As someone's who's never caught a fish,  I was surprised I left with so many! The restaurant next door cooked our fish for us. We booked a half day charter on their Fishmonster MAX boat on TripAdvisor for the afternoon, leaving at 2:30pm and returning at 6:30pm.  I had read that the stern seats were the way to go if you wanted to catch fish, so it was a little extra per person for this location.  The boat is very clean, gear is well maintained, crew is fun and they have great attitudes.  We had a nice little group (the afternoon was not as booked as the morning), so we were all able to head to the back area of the boat and everyone was able to catch fish to take home.  Your fish are kept on a stringer and then you can take a photo with your catches once your arrive back before they are filleted for you.  The benefit of the afternoon time is that you also are able to get a sunset cruise on the way back!   Once you arrive back, take your fillets to any of the area restaurants - White Tarpon is literally steps away; this was our choice and it was very delicious.  We would definitely go on another charter w/FishMonster - if not this same one, we would see what else they have to offer as well next time we find ourselves in Key West

A Great private fishing charter that Cares about You! If you seeking a quality captain and crew look no more. FishMonster is the best Key West has to offer! We have been fishing the Keys over 20 years and this is a top notch owner and crew. We had Captain Bodie and mate Tony on the Premium Time and the customer service and attention to detail is top notch. So spend your money where you will be with people you will enjoy for the next 4-6 hours. We are coming back for sure!

What a GREAT fishing charter! I have never fished in the ocean before this trip. The staff took their time to make sure we were all set up, gave us suggestions, changed locations if fish weeny biting, and made sure all guests were feeling OK since it was a little rocky on the water. I would suggest to bring your own breakfast or eat ahead of time if you are not into eating snacks for breakfast . They had a nice selection of snacks, drinks, etc. though for later in the day. The crew also will fillet your fish after the trip and the White Tarpon (right on the dock) will cook it up for you. We were leaving the next day so asked if they could donate the fish somewhere and they said they do that (great to know :).
