Arrived at my appointed time. The advisor I was meant to see was not in the office. I was directed to a woman named Vicky who wasn't particularly friendly from the beginning. When I mentioned lowering my tax bill with a loss-harvesting strategy I set up, she incorrectly told me that it was a wash sale. When I explained that the loss was tied to property, not securities, Vicki continued to disagree. This should not have come as a surprise as she had a difficult time spelling common words at the intake. Her unique blend of ignorance and discourtesy made walking out of the office a simple decision. Overall, the office seems dysfunctional; in addition to the absent tax professional, another employee had their child playing an iPad in a dark office at the front. Taxes are serious, these people are not.

I was helped here at H&R Block by a lady named Mrs. Nina.
I just wanted everyone to know that Mrs Nina was very helpful and went completely out of her way to help me when no one else would. She worked on my tax issue diligently to figure out what happened to a refund I had been waiting on. Thank you very much.
