This office is wonderful! All staff Ive encountered over the last several months have gone above and beyond, and have been a pleasure to work with. Especially my sons pediatric PT, Bianca! She was absolutely wonderful. She was dedicated to helping my infant son with his torticolis & her plan was very effective. She is certainly an asset to this team. Thank you all so much!

I went to Brooks after years of pain and many doctors. I was assigned to Dr. Patrick Pham. If you go to Brooks, request Patrick. He is attentive, caring, thorough and direct. He came up with a plan, always evaluating how it was working and always making sure I knew what was happening and that I was comfortable with it. Patrick was the first doctor to give me relief from my pain. He is wicked smart and sees the whole picture and the whole person. There were times I didn't understand the process but, the plan worked. I am pain free. I will always be extremely grateful to Patrick.

In June of 2023, my primary care physician wrote me a referral to Brooks Rehabilitation for pelvic floor therapy. I was experiencing pain from an open hernia repair. I contacted Brooks and started looking for a pelvic floor therapist. The San Pablo and Beach blvd Brooks center has a pelvic floor therapist and when I called I was told that she was not yet licensed to practice on men. Woman, yes, but not men. I asked them if there were any other locations that had PF therapy. I was given 3 or 4 other locations to call. I called all of them and was told the same thing. Their PF therapist is not yet licensed to work on men. I called the San Pablo location again and asked when their PF therapist would be able to treat men and they told me to contact the therapist directly and gave me her email. I emailed Anna-lynn and she responded within a day. She was very polite and professional. She told me she will be licensed to treat men in mid October. I asked if I could go ahead and schedule my first evaluation appointment but she said that they will not schedule the appointment until she received her certification. I emailed Anna-Lynn the second week of October and she replied that she had received her certificate and was now able to treat men. This was 3 and a half months since my first contact with her. I called Brooks and asked to schedule my appointment. They told me the first appointment they had was at the end of November. They asked if I wanted to be put on a waiting list, and I said yes. Tuesday Oct 24 they called and told me they had an opening for Thursday Oct 26. I took took it. I meet Anna-lynn this morning. She was very friendly polite and professional. She was very thorough and professional in her questions and exam. I am very pleased with Anna-lynn and highly recommend her. After my session was over she explained her findings and recommendations to me. She said I should come in once a week for the next 10 weeks then we would evaluate my condition again. She also said that she is the only Pelvic Floor therapist at that location and that she is very booked up. She took my up to the reception desk and told the lady that she wanted me to be placed as a high priority because I have met my insurance deductible and it will reset on Dec 31. The scheduler started looking for openings. She found none until after Jan 5. At that time the cost of the therapy will be over 100.00 per visit. I should have been made aware before I accepted the appointment today that Anna-lynn was not going to be able to book any follow up appointments. Todays visit was a complete waste of my time and Anna-lynns. This is of no fault of Anna-lynns. She did not schedule my appointment today. I was completely satisfied with her. Brooks failed on a couple levels. They failed to keep the necessary qualified staff and they failed to find replacements in a timely manner when the previous therapist left. They also did not notify me that after todays evaluation appointment the therapist would not be able to see me again until after January. 2 and a half months from now. That is absolutely ridiculous. Anna-lynn gets a 5 and Brooks gets a 1.

Dr. Pham at Brooks rehab is a very kind and knowledgeable therapist. He listens and addresses all my concerns. I can highly recommend his services to anyone.
